T-Mobile G1 Google Cell Phone
On September 23, 2008, T-Mobile announced the world’s first Android-powered phone, the T-Mobile G1 manufactured by HTC. The G1 is a dualband UMTS, quadband GSM, full 5-row QWERTY keyboard, trackball and 3.2-inch 320 x 480 HVGA capacitive touchscreen for navigation, equipped by GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3.2-megapixel fixed-focus camera.
The phone will hit the market by October 22. T-Mobile G1 is “cheaper” than iPhone 3G. For two years contract, you can buy at US$ 179 price tag on T-Mobile in the US or US$ 399 if you want to have contract-free package. US30 per month for unlimited data and messaging. It said to be locked for T-Mobile network only.
